The Topps Company Inc. was founded in 1938 as a confectionary company, which still forms an important part of the company's business with popular brands such as Bazooka, Ring Pop and Push Pop. However Topps is now best known for it's trading cards - in the fields of sport and entertainment. I'm sure most of us who follow football has bought a packet of Bazooka bubble gum football trading cards at some stage in our younger days during the peak period of the 1970's.

The new Match Attax (Blue backed) cards were first previewed as a give-away with "Match" magazine at the end of September 2008. Within the special blue foil packets either 1 out of the 2 Limited Edition cards were featured, West Ham's Valon Behrami or Liverpool's Fanando Torez.
Due to a mix up at the distributors only the Torez card was released nationwide with only a handful of the Behrami cards finding there way into packets in a few outlets in the south east of England.
"Match" magazine decided to re-issue the Limited Edition Valon Behrami card with the 21st - 27th October 2008 edition of the magazine.
